After School Enrichment
Birney offers 3 types of after school childcare: PrimeTime, SAY, and After School Enrichment.
After School Enrichment (ASE) was founded in 2017 by parents of Birney students, and as a program of the Birney PTA, it remains entirely volunteer-coordinated today. The goal of ASE is to offer Birney students after school activities that fit diverse interests, budgets, schedules, and ages and ASE classes are open to all Birney students.
This year, ASE classes begin on Monday, August 26th, 2024 and the final day of ASE classes is Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 (some exceptions apply). A detailed day-by-day ASE schedule can be found in the ASE Booklet below.
If your child is not enrolled in SAY or Primetime but you still need after-school childcare for the first two weeks of school, please visit our Camps page.
